CIRS attended the Regulatory Summit USA 2016 hosted by Chemical Watch in Washington D.C during 27 Oct. 2016 and 28 Oct. 2016.
Experts from European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), American Chemical Council (ACC), Green Chemistry Institute, Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP, EPA), Plastics & Chemicals Industries Association, Workplace Hazardous Materials Directorate, Health Canada, Taiwan's Environmental Protection Administration, P&G and 3E are invited to speak at the summit. This summit had 3 topics: TSCA reform, the developments in North America and the implementation of chemical regulations and their updates in Asia Pacific.
Being the most promising chemical market, the safety management and the regulatory compliance requirements in Asia have attracted great attentions from chemical enterprises in North America. During this summit, Mr. Eric Xiong from CIRS gave a speech on updates of chemical regulations in China and the practical experience. He mainly introduced the management situation of chemicals in China and its development trend, shared his experience in complying with chemical regulations in China with participants, analyzed practical cases and discussed about how enterprises can finish the regulatory compliance work in China.
