14 Dec. 2018, CIRS Group Korea Ltd. successfully held its opening ceremony in Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas. Mr. Zhiyong Wang from China Association for Consumer Products Quality and Safety Promotion, Ms. Hongwei Zhang from Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Mr. Kaiguo Yu from China Certification and Inspection Group Korea Co., Ltd. as well as enterprise representatives from JEMAI, KTR, MOTIE, KITA, KOTRA, aT, Air Liquide, Bayer, BASF, Lanxess, DOW, P&G, Solva, etc. attended the ceremony.

The opening ceremony began with several speeches. Mr. Eric Xiong, Manager of Industrial Chemical Sector, Ms. April Guo, Manager of Personal Care Division, Ms. Cathy Yu, Manager of Food Business Division and Mr. Edwin Wen, Manager of Medical Devices Division of CIRS Group gave speeches on chemical registration, global GHS compliance, cosmetic and new ingredients registration, food and food related products registration, medical devices registration and regulation training respectively, aiming to deepen Korean enterprises’ understanding of CIRS Group.

Mr. Wen Zhen, Board Chairman of CIRS Group gave the opening speech. In his speech, he expressed his most sincere wishes and warmest congratulations to the establishment of CIRS Group Korea Co., Ltd on behalf of CIRS Group. He mentioned that China and South Korea are both important global economies. China and South Korea are also important trading and investment partners of each other. CIRS Group has maintained close communication and cooperation with the Korean government, associations as well as consulting agencies since 2011, aiming to provide professional product regulatory consulting services to enterprises both in China and South Korea. In the future, CIRS Group would make best efforts to support the development of CIRS Group Korea Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhen also talked about his expectations to CIRS Group Korea in his speech. He hoped that CIRS Group Korea Co., Ltd. could carry forward the corporate culture of CIRS Group and provide high quality services to enterprises.

Mr. Zhiyong Wang, Vice Chairman of China Association for Consumer Products Quality and Safety Promotion (CACPQSP) gave the congratulation speech. He mentioned that CIRS Group is a leading product safety and chemical management consulting firm, aiming to improve the compliance of the chemical industry. In the future, CACPQSP would deepen its cooperation with CIRS Group and support the development of CIRS Group Korea Co., Ltd. In the meantime, he hoped that CIRS can target at becoming an industry benchmark and serve as a bridge between Chinese/Korean enterprises and Korean/Chinese products safety competent authorities. He also hoped that CIRS Group Korea Co., Ltd. can provide qualified services to related enterprises, promote the quality and safety of consumer goods and assume necessary social responsibilities
